BSOD when shutting down and unable to boot when start up

I did a clean install of Lion on my 1,1 on another hard drive and then cleared the old one that had it on it before. When I go to shut down I get the Black screen of death. Then when I start up it goes to Lion Installer, I have to manually choose which disk to boot from but I see no way of removing the Lion Boot Image so it can boot from my hard drive.
