using MacBook Pro 15.4" 2.8GHz Core 2 Duo (A1286) - Mid 2009 MB986LL/A with El Cap 10.11.2
unibody anti glare screen

Looking for upgrade to wifi AC and Bluetooth 4.0

This is because I have a delay in sound when watching video on MBP while getting the sound from Denon AVR-X7200WA receiver...

any suggestion?

thanks

If you want to do this internally, sell it and buy a newer computer. You'll save quite a bit of hassle and not run the risk of buying daughterboards that don't fit, don't work, or that the software side just won't recognize.

If you are at all concerned about sound quality(I'd venture to say you are, seeing how expensive your receiver is), a wireless solution shouldn't even be crossing your mind. There'll always be a small delay and bluetooth sucks at sound reproduction. A wired solution will always provide a better signal.

You could also look into an Apple TV or Airport Express, which you can send audio to through wi-fi, bypassing bluetooth entirely. You'll get much, much better sound quality and should not have any delay problems.

WiFi delaying your sound? Nah. You're giving the audio a longer signal path, and the wider bandwidth of AC will make no difference.
