Now that I have my lovely iPhone 3GS; the Apple BT earphone will not connect to the iPhone.

Anyone have a solution...

It does connect to my 3G just fine; so it is not damaged.

Thanks...

Fixed

I held the button to the Apple iPhone BT headset until my finger hurt; not really, about 10-15 seconds... it reset the unit and now it happily connects to my new iPhone ... hope this helps someone out there.... reset your earwigs...

My apple by headset is working fine with my 3gs so there's no compatability issue.

How are those headsets anyway?

I want a great headset with no ear loop, that will stay in my large ear :)

I like mine very much which is why I was frantic to get it working. I have not tested the BT range yet, as I just got it working, but on my 3G the range sucked wind. I would say about 15 feet then poof...

I think the iPhone's bluetooth signal in general is weak at best.

If you want a headset without an ear loop, go for the Jawbone Prime, hands down best headset ever! Must comfortable, Best noise cancellation, only BT headset with wind cancellation!

Yes, it's the exact same one. Constantly disconnects and I'm thinkin' it's the worst BT EVER! With iPhone in my pocket the BT never worked or everything was garbled at best. 10' from my iPhone and I would lose the connection. I gave it away when I sold my v1 iPhone; I've never missed it...:(:(:(

Bluetooth is severely broken technology IMO anyway. It doesn't matter what type of devices you try and connect there's always pairing issues, or syncing problems, or something just doesnt recognize something else.
