Hi there,
I've read a few threads on this, but haven't come across my specifics.

I have a macbook os x 10.5.8
I've logged onto BTFon via wifi and both times have had it pass out and disconnect after 30mins-7hours.

It repeatedly says when I open Safari that it can't connect to the Internet.

I have used it once for a full 24hrs and it worked fine.

I don't have a fonera or btbroadband. There are other wifi networks that are locked (from neighbours houses).

I'm convinced that there's some code/password/tech thing I can do to sort it out!

Can anyone help?
Kind regards
ZappaNur

BT Fon

BT FON hotspots are the Wi-Fi signals from BT Home Hubs owned by other members of the BT FON community. This means that individual BT FON hotspots may not always be available because a customer may opt out of the service, or temporarily switch off their Hub.

Meanwhile I'm struggling to find out how I can download BT Fon on to my MacBook as I am a BT Total Broadband customer.

You need to opt-in. visit http://api.home if you're on the same network as the HH, you should see the opt-in link. Once you're registered, you just connect. :)
