I hope this is posted in the correct place.
Have a look at this advert:
This claims that BT's Home Hub can sit in the hallway of that solid-walled house and transmit up three floors and out to the garden.
We have a TP Link VR600 which, like our PlusNet-supplied router, has trouble reaching more than 30ft through our house and only sometimes reaches upstairs to our bedroom (about 18ft from the router). Most of the time when in bed I have to be on 4G.
We sometimes even have trouble getting it to our lounge - 8ft away from the router through one door which is usually ajar.
So what does the BT Home Hub do that no other routers apparently do? I want that sort of wifi range but don't want to go with BT to get it.
