BT Mighty Mouse dead?!?

So my problem is that my MM is "dead". I was using it one day, and all of a sudden it stopped moving! but the buttons still work! The batteries are almost brand new!
I've tried reconnecting it, restarting the computer but nothing! I have a 17" Powerbook, G4 1.5 mhz, 2 GB ram.

Anyone have an Idea???

Sorry, no help at all, but the exact same thing has just happened to my previous version Apple wireless (the one without the buttons). It's strange (to me) how the button still works.

i'd take it in to the apple store...they should give you a new one.
i believe it has a 1 year coverage
