BT speaker quits and opens ITunes

Hi, I have a Mid 2014 13 rMBP, El Cap. Just got a JAM bluetooth speaker a couple weeks ago, working fine, then a couple days ago the speaker will quit, and ITunes opens. Sometimes the speaker will operate correctly for 1-2 hours, but like now it will quit in 8,5,2 minutes. I have never used ITunes, but did change my email address and AppleID. Computer runs fine other than this speaker issue. Anybody seen this before?
