iPad BTC Mouse and Trackpad.. Big problems?!

I have had many problems with BTC mouse and trackpad unfortunately. After installing it, the BTC companion shows up in the Bluetooth settings but the HID mouse will not show up.
I have finally managed to get it to appear by installing 'mouse' from Cydia. However this is only temporary as the mouse soon fails. When it does work, the scrolling features do not work etc.
This is really disappointing as I've heard so many good reviews so was really excited to use this.
This was actually one of, if not THE biggest reasons I jailbroken my device.

In short, the mouse will not show up in Bluetooth and buy accessing it in 'mouse' the solution is only temporary before it disappears and the functionality is limited e.g. It won't pull up the multitask bar etc.

Please help! I may be a newbie at this but I'm sure I have followed all the advice available :/

I hope you find a resolution, and I don't mean to de-rail this thread, but I take it you've had BTC KB and Mouse in the past and its worked well on a previous iOS version? What does BTC take care of on the keyboard front?

So far I have BeeKeyboard and BeeSafari, and I like them quite a bit.

If I had my trackpad with me, I'd give it a try. But I am BT mouse-less at the moment while in a different state.

Using BTC Mouse and Trackpad on my iPad4 and iPad Mini without problem and without the need for the 'mouse' tweak. I've even tried it on my iPhone5, worked fine.

I'd guess you have a conflict with another jb app.

I know this is gunna sound stupid but nope I've never used it before and I don't know what it takes care of lol.. I thought you had to download it to use the mouse.. :S
Maybe it's the fact it enables you to use a keyboard and a mouse together that's its selling point but tbh I thought you had to have it to use the mouse lol? :s

Interesting thoughts thanks.. I wonder what jb app could conflict it! I have so many i couldn't possibly jumble them around to find the right one lol :/

I know this might sound pointless but could you possibly explain the steps you use to enable it? Sorry I'm a TOTAL newbie lol

I tap on BT on the iDevice under Settings. i press the BT button on the mouse. The mouse appears in the list of BT devices on the iDevice and its status goes from Disconnected to Connected.

It's so strange.. My mouse won't appear under BT settings.. Just under the 'mouse' app! Mad!

BTC Mouse & Trackpad (Apple Magic Trackpad)

Hi everyone !!
I have a similar problem.
I bought BTC Mouse & Trackpad 1.4.2-3 but I can't pair my Apple Magic Trackpad in iPhone 5 iOS 6.1.2 and I can't understand why ?!?

(I can see it from BT list but it can't pair)

Maybe not compatible with others tweak but I don't know witch one

Disconnects!

Hello Guys,

Just purchased BTC mouse and trackpad over cydia.

I used my logitech keyboard case along with a standard bluetooth 3.0 mouse.

While the mouse connects (and remains connected) and works perfectly fine with my mac, it just disconnects after 5-10 minutes automatically when i connect it to my iPad 3 (iOS 6.0). Sometimes it connects back once i randomly click the mouse, but it again disconnects after a while.

And eventually it never does...

Any workaround to this? I was thinking of literally dumping my macbook should this tweak worked, but it never did

Hi guys! I have an ipad 4 with ios 7.0.4. I have done the jail break but when I try to install bt mouse trackpad a message appears saying that the version is not compatible with that ios. Does anybody know how to use a trackpad in ipad 4 with this version of ios? Thanks!

With a non-jailbroken device, you can't.

With a jailbroken device, you can't until the BTC app is updated.

If it says it doesn't work, it DOESN'T work. Give it at least a MONTH to get it to be updated.
