I use a BTMouseJR bluetooth mouse from MacAlly. I've had it for years. When I got the latest MacBook Pro in December 2008, I found that the left mouse button doesn't click, it always double-clicks. This is a new problem. It makes it hard to drive the computer.
Playing with the System Preferences for the mouse doesn't do anything.
I also have a wireless USB mouse (I don't remember the brand) and it does not have this problem with the left mouse button. I don't use both mice at the same time.
Does anyone use the BTMouseJR on MacBook Pro? Have you had this problem?
I migrated my old Mac to this one, and it led to the problem where the trackpad didn't do double-finger scrolling, so I fixed that with "defaults write -g com.apple.trackpad.scrollBehavior 2". Is there a similar sort of defaults problem with the bluetooth mouse?
MacAlly's web site does not even acknowledge that this product exists, so I guess they don't support it.
