BTO configurations in store?

For those who went into Apple Stores. Are they just selling their plain vanilla models and no BTO units?

I would be swayed to go for their higher end model if it included 16gb of ram or even 32gb BTO. But no.

The options on the iPad displays (where you compare the different pros) have the base 2.3/256/8gb, the base w/ 2.3/512/8gb, and the maxed out version 2.7768/16gb
