Finally I have arrived.....
When you go with BTO for iBook or PB, does Apple' plant in Suzhou China (or Taiwan?) assign one person or team to complete the BTO iBook/PB? Or, does it go through like a normal production line similar to what the non BTO models go through?

I read somewhere that a BTO notebook can be more reliable than non BTO brethren as it is typically assembled by one person or group (i.e., the build qualities are consistent). In this case, a person or group will be accountable for the qualities of the finished products. The most of the manufactures should be able to trace who or which group made the BTO by the serial number.

Or, is this just a bullsXXt?

Dunno if this is ******** or for real, but I haven't had any issues with my current AlBook or previous TiBook. And the person who bought the TiBook from me hasn't had any real issues either - just that the battery is worn out, but that is pretty much expected at that age.
