Sorry if it's covered but I've been researching this lots and can't seem to find an answer anywhere.
I'm looking for a new (not ebay option) budget replacement for my Mac Pro 4,1 and currently considering a 'Sapphire HD 7790 OC 1GB'. I'm not a huge gamer but want this more for triple screens and low power/noise but I can't find any posts on any HD 7790.
From the forum, I also get the impression that nvidia cards are favoured and covered in more depth - no sticky FAQ for AMD cards!
To be blunt, can anyone confirm if the OC'ed 7790 will work and is a good option or should I stick to nVidia GTX 650 Ti?
