Buffalo Linkstation mini for iphone?

i dont no if anyones seen this but soon you will be able to access 1TB of data over internet to your iphone, so you can watch movies or listen to music.

im thinking about buying one but does anyone know if ill be able to watch all my movies that are in AVI Format from my iphone.
or is there anyway to stream avi files?

This seems like a cool app, but I am not sure if it will play .avi. I guess as long as Quicktime can play it, the iphone will play.
