Buffing out silver iPhone 14 Pro (Max)

This is my first Silver iPhone. I understood the silver SS frame is natural SS, no PVD. Can someone confirm you can buff it out with cap code polish? I noticed a few scratches around the lightning connector. No big deal but I am interested to know if that would do a good job.

Confirm silver SS doesn't have any coating and can be buffed using Cape Cod cloth/polish
