Catalina has been a much rougher release than Apple's usual standard.
One bug I can't work around or fix is that the dock always shows a red notification as if there was a pending update or security alert (eg new software wants to authorise a new kext).
It is however apparently a reminder to sign into iCloud.
It won't go away. I don't want to sign into iCloud.
I have fresh installs of Catalina, not upgrades. I have tried signing in and signing out, but this doesn't work.
Any suggestions?
