Here is the situation
I am using native iOS Calendar app on iphone XS MAX, ios 12.2
I am also using native macOS Calendar app on imac, macOS 10.14.4
My calendar account is on my university's Exchange server

The bug exists when I try to delete a single occurrence of a repeating event, using the ios calendar app on my iphone. It deletes the event, but only on the phone. The macOS calendar app still shows that event.

If I try to delete all future occurrences of a repeating event, or simply delete a single non-repeating event, from the iphone, the macOS calender correctly shows the event as deleted.

When I try the reverse, deleting a single occurrence of a repeating event from the macOS calendar, the ios Calendar correctly shows the event as deleted.

So the problem is a one-way ios calendar not updating the macos calendar, and only when deleting a single occurrence of a repeating event.

I have tried third party softwares, such as outlook for mac on the imac, the behaviour is the same. I have tried calendar5 by readdle on ios, same behaviour (actually it uses the native calendar app to make changes). The only thing that worked was using outlook for ios, then everything works as intended. However, I do not want to use ios outlook.

1) Can anyone reproduce this problem? Simply create a repeating event on an exchange calendar, then try deleting a single occurance using the calendar app on the iphone. Is it still there on the mac side? I even used the outlook web app to see if would be updated. It was not. So something in the ios calendar app is preventing exchange from being updated.

2) Anyone have any ideas for a fix? I already tried removing and re-adding the exchange account on the phone and mac.

Thank you!
