Hi all.

Been noticing this ever since i upgraded to 10.5

When i send an email, mail often says "sending 1 of 2", even though i only sent one... and my outbox is empty. Similarly, sometimes it says "retrieving 6 of 6 emails" and yet none show up in my inbox/junk mail. I don't think i'm "missing" any... just kind of weird that it would say that.

Anyone had this problem?

Not I, wish I could help.
I've been using Mail since Leopard, and I don't think I've ever noticed anything like this, although now I'm going to keep my eye out for it next time I send/receive email next.

this is natural, i believe. i presume you have an imap account set up on gmail or something; it's just syncing notes, messages, and junk. i wouldnt worry about it.

Well, your messages may have embedded graphics or some such thing. At any rate, Mail is not conspiring against you.
