I wish Apple would change the name back to iChat as that was a better name. Anyways in Messages if I were to try and send a message to someone in my address book whom DOES NOT have a iOS phone Messages will not let me. However if I were to manually type in a phone number I would be given a choice to send to the person either via iMessage, or AIM. AIM is for non iPhones. Perhaps I may have discovered a bug in Messages not beign able to send a SMS message to a contact in my address book very easily. With some contacts I am able to send, and others I am not. I have no idea why... Sure all of this would be simpler if everyone used iPhones, but they do not. Anyone have any clue as to how to solve this? I am reporting it as a bug on the apple site.
