I came across this bug in the Utility watch face. Note how the appointment complication overwrites the clock face.

I tried to reproduce it, and couldn't. Maybe it's just your watch? Or something with that particular calendar entry? Odd. Shows up fine on mine.

----------

Also, where is the rounded exclamation mark before the event coming from?

We need to remember that this is the 1st version of the Watch operating system and improvements/refinements will be made overtime.

Look at the significant changes to IOS for the IPhones/IPads.

I'm not sure where the exclamation point came from. This is an appointment from my work calendar (vacation day). It is a bit of a rare type of an appointment.

The "!" Is when there are two overlapping or conflicting entries.

But I've not been able to reproduce the formatting bug.

If the exclamation mark is not in the original calendar entry then that could be what the issue is. Something is wrong with the way it's converting over.

I absolutely love this watch. Super job by Apple for a first generation product.

Will it still do it after a restart?

Press and hold the crown and side button until you see the logo.

Yeah, look how they "refined" copy/paste in iOS7 and haven't fixed it since.

Is this your own photo? If yes, I think there is not much people wear the watch in that orientation. You may try another orientation setting and see if the problem still there.

Although true, and I agree, I wish this would stop being the default response to the flood of bugs people have found. Gen 1 shouldn't mean "beta", and it does feel a little like a beta right now.

Yes, it is my own photo. I'll upload it later today to this forum.

And yes, I'm left handed. I'll try changing the orientation later today to see if the problem goes away, although I love having the crown on the left. Good thought.

Do you only get this bug with the exclamation mark (indicating conflicting events)? See if it will go away once you don't get conflicting events?

Have you tried rebooting the Watch?

I tired flipping the orientation, and that did not fix it.

It does seem to go away once I don't have meeting conflicts. Rebooting did not fix it.
