I have Huawei E169G 7.2 Mbps HSDPA data card. I put MTNL's pay as you go sim. The drivers were successfully installed. I selected Generic 3G modem in advanced options and entered the correct APN. It connected to internet fine.

But after a restart, it was stuck on authenticating for a long time. That is when I went to advanced settings, I saw that the settings had changed to Apple Modem.

So yea, settings are reset after every boot.

Any suggestions to retain those settings after reboot?
