So in the beta if you activated split screen / multitasking with messages on the side after that any time you got s notification for a message and tapped it, it left the main app open and slid messages back into view from the right, even after it lost focus for the main app it came back
In the final release that no longer happens. Even if split screen/multitasking is activated once it loses focus and slides away then a notification of a message comes up, if you tap on it, it brings the messaging app as the only app.
This is unfortunate. You had this incredibly intelligent behaviour that allowed quick replies using split screen and now it's dumbed down again causing single apps only to be used and negating the benefits.
I don't know if this was a decision or a bug now prevents the better way of doing things, either way it should be set back to work as it did previously. - tap a notification and messages slides in from the right to allow an answer without disturbing the main application.
Can anyone else running gm confirm this isn't just my iPad. I can't believe they would take away intelligent behaviour intentionally for old fashioned same as ever let's ignore the split screen possibilities bahviour
