Bug when replying to threads with a smilie

If I quote-reply to a post in a thread, and as my only response leave a smilie:



Then the forum software keeps changing the upper-case D to a lower case D so I'm left with:

:d

I've noticed it a few times. Try as I might, I can't resolve it by editing.

It won't let you post a reply in all caps which is what you are attempting.
