hi this is my first post here and I had to sign up because this is getting super annoying .
So the problem is my MacBook Pro mid 2012 just upgraded the ssd and fresh copy of Mojave latest version via internet recovery was installed .
Upon boot my MacBook touchpad clicks were not working (force clicking is working )
When I go to touch pad settings it won’t detect the built in one instead shows me Bluetooth devices (nothing found ofc)

Everything was working on Yosemite (last version I had on the HDD which is no longer in my Mac as I upgraded to an ssd)

Looking at forums and apple comunty pages YouTube videos can’t find anything .

Found one which said battery reseat fixed their issue but I don’t have a battery installed cause mine was toasted ( was working fine with Yosemite btw)

Help me out I just can’t force click this is very frustrating and wanna get the touch click back .

Gestures are working in safari but the touch click won’t .
