Bugs in Apple Maps on Tahoe?

I just tried to plan some routes in Apple Maps on MacOS Tahoe and I encountered these issues:

• it seems no longer possible to right click on a location and select 'Route from' or 'Route to'; the only option is 'Route'. This is annoying because I want to plan a route from A to B, both not my current location
• I have a hard time replacing 'My location' in the Route window with a location I select from the map. AFAIK this was possible in older versions.

Combined, these issues make it (almost?) impossible to plan a simple route from A to B.
Am I overlooking something?
