Any experienced apple developers out there looking for a chance to make it on the open source scene? I'm interested in starting an opensource project to build an apple cocoa typing tutor. My target audience would be adults. The interface would be clean and very Apple-esque. I came up with this idea when my mother got a new ibook and her typing skills are atrocious. I looked around to see what's out there but the competition wasn't up to snuff:

The program should be robust but easily simplified like many of the good apps on the market. It should leverage apple technologies (possibly the new core animation for the finger placement and movement) and should get your grandmother typing in under 20 minutes (possibly an outrageous claim). Just throwing this out there as an idea to see if there is anyone interested in such an undertaking. (I smell the future winners of the apple design awards smile.gif )
