I have a project underway, that involves filmed interviews which will be part of a larger exhibition.
I want to give exhibition-goers the opportunity to record their own contributions to the project, via a digital "confessional" booth.
Ideally, I'd like a set-up with a built-in iSight cam -- an iMac (preferably) or a MacBook and an app that allows for single-button recording (I plan to modify a USB panic button/pedal/etc to start/stop recording, with a 5 minute limit).
The problem is, I don't know where to start, in terms of software options
Photobooth might work except: I don't want people to be able to see the thumbnails of other recordings and Start Recording and Stop Recording are two different keystrokes.
Any suggestions? Thanks!
