built in i-sight stopped working

My iSight stopped working recently, and I have no idea why.

I reset the SMC controls, the PRAM, and no luck.

It's not showing up in the system profiler either.

It's also not showing up on other accounts.

I deleted some recent plists but that didn't help either.

any suggestions? my apple care is long gone,.

There's not even a green light when you open photo booth (or any other software for your webcam).

No green light, it's not even showing up in the system profile.


Restored from day when it was working, still no luck.

Every program says camera not detected, it was working perfect last week.
