built in isight camera turned off (dont know how)

the built in isight camera turned off somehow and i dont know how, how doI turn it back on?

do you get a picture of a camera with a strikethough in Photo Booth? this happends to me when i close my MBP and use my external display but this is normal though.

first of all try a restart. if that doesnt help try repairing permissions.

Also try booting into Safe mode.
