Bulk / Batch update possible for icons?

Hello. I understand you can change the icons to single files/folders via Get Info > CMD + V to the icon. However is it possible to change a specific file type with and apply a new icon without doing it one at a time? Example: All excel files will have the same and I only need to change one and some how apply all. Similar to how you assign an app to open certain file types.
