Bummed with iphone 5 screen issue

I was bummed out to find some sort of light leak/banding issue on my iphone 5 screen. Not sure if this is a glue/adhesive thing that will eventually go away or if it's something I need to see an Apple Genius about. Certainly takes a bit of the excitement out of iphone day.

If you have an apple store nearby, go there now and exchange (they have some extra stock for faulty units). Should not be doing that.

Completely agree with this. Take it to an Apple store with everything and exchange it.

Ew, that is not normal! Looks almost like a stress fracture on the screen.

Thanks for the input! Brought into the apple store and showed them both the screen issue and the nick in the side that was there when I opened it. They replaced it with a new one that seems to be working great.
