Correct me if I'm wrong but don't iPhone 4 early adopters miss out on the opportunity to get their free bumper before the 30 day return period expires? I received my iPhone 4 on June 23 so I have until July 23 to return it. There is no way I am going to get a bumper before then and wouldn't have much of an opportunity to evaluate it if I did. Am I missing some or did Apple extend the return period to allow users to get the bumper and still have the opportunity to return the phone if it doesn't work out.

Thanks

You are correct. The charity case offer will begin after day one users can return for full refund (at least without a certain amount of whining). One or the other. Not sure if one can return for new one & start a new 30 day cycle. Could be worth it. Lol just keep doing that through sept 30 to see what plan B is.

Basically, Early adopters get the crippled phones with a bumper.

The patients (those who patiently wait) get the fixed versions! :D
