Anyone know if the Bumper cases are only being sold at Apple? Or Best Buy, Radio Shack, Walmart too?

The official Apple case? I think it's only Apple and big AT&T stores. Honestly though, get the Griffin Reveal. At the moment it's only available in black but other colors are bound to come out. It has the thin sides and a hard clear plastic back for protection.

Where can I buy this?

My Best Buy (Chesapeake Square Mall, Virginia) did NOT have bumpers for sale.

repeat, NO BUMPERS

what is the inside like on these? Does it have any kind of rubber lining going down the back so dust and dirt won't get stuck between the case and the phone scratching it? for my 3G I have an Incase, which has 2 rubber lines going down the back to raise it up just enough.

I'm willing to bet that the Apple store close to me (the Dallas one where jwagoner's at) will run out of phones before they close today.. So, I think I'll just stop by there sometime this evening to pick up a bumper as long as they don't run out of those too.

I just returned the Griffin Reveal today after having it on my iphone 4 all day yesterday. It is a huge dust magnet. So much dust was collected behind the plastic screen and the back of the phone, it looked horrible. Just picked up a bumper at the Apple store and it is awesome. Super tight fit and metal control buttons.

I don't have the dust issue you referred to with my Reveal. ???

quick question.. if i were to head over to apple in a couple hours and if there was still a line of people waiting to get their iphone.. would i be able to skip them and get in to just buy a case?? lol

None, just rubber around the sides and a flat plastic back. Dust can get in.

Doesn't the plastic having a very electromagnetic feel? That's the way I felt when I was looking at them yesterday.

Yes you could. As long as you're not purchasing an iPhone you could simply walk in the store to make another purchase. I've done it with previous launches.

No, you can't. I went to the apple store this morning and try to get an iphone bumper and they said to come back at 10am when they start serving regular customers...

No bumpers at my best buy.

My apple store had some left when I called but there was still a line out the door and they would not hold one.

I'll just have to be extra careful till I can get my hands on one.

is it safe to assume that they normally open at 10am, so that would be a good reason to not let you in before that time?

I went to bestbuy today afternoon and saw there were very few cases available (few brands).

Only white griffin reveal was there but I picked this unknown bran "RocketFish" smoke color case. It was one of the cheapest and looked great on my black phone.

Since I never heard of this company I am not sure I abt the quality. First hand impression is good though.

If I don't like it I will return it anyways.
