Bumper combo color concept

I just received my black bumper today and like it very much, but it leaves something to be desired since it takes away the sleek looking silver band. I had originally wanted the white bumper, but I feel even that may be too much white around the device. So I quickly realize the two tone of the bumper and threw this together:

I wonder... if we can buy both colors and swap the inner plastic with one another.

Definitely not something Apple would make. Potential for third party sellers though.
