Bumper or iHome?

I can't decide. Because the stupid bumpers and docks dont work together I have to pick one. An iPhone 4 dock adapter for my ihome (charging, wake to music, etc) or a bumper (protect phone, keep a cell signal )

Adapter: $9 + 4 shipping
Bumper: $30 + 4 shipping

Which should i do?
