I have tested this, and it has been proven true. Riding in a car on a bumpy road, a motorcycle, or just hopping on a bus seems to make the step counter of the Apple Watch go up. Is there anything that can be done to make this more accurate? Anyone have this issue as well? The motion processor in my iPhone seems to be mighty accurate compared to the watch.

I've ridden my motorcycle several times now with my Apple Watch and I haven't really noticed my step counter higher on the days I was on it vs ones I was not.

in fairness it's the same with the fitbit line.. I have a fitbit charge and I get steps and staircases on a drive.. Not much you can do except maybe have a car mode that you can put the watch in that doesn't count steps.. Or have it notice you are doing way more speed than you can do on your feet.
