buring video_ts using a burn folder

Hi. I discovered that if I burn an mpeg-2 video using a burn folder it will play in my DVD player. I was curious what to do if I want to burn multiple files of this format onto one DVD. I've converted multiple avis to video_ts/audio_ts format, and they all have the same name (for example, i have several folders with files named viedo_ts.bup, vts_01_1.vob, etc). Do I need to change the file names so that they are unique, or can I leave them as is?
