just switched to mac... I used dvd decrypter to backup my movies I own (I don't want to scratch originals after all paying 19 $ a pop is not cheap).
for burning I used imgburn.

I was surprised how mac suck - there are no (free) options???
after some time i found mactheripper. and burning? toast, popcorn... anything else? plus sweet surprise- mac down support my external dvd burner. after some googling i found patchburn which enables external dvd burners and burn which can make dvds . nICE!:D

I'm not sure what you mean?

macs suck? don't support which dvd burner?

glad you found some options for you to use, but if your looking for suggestions and help, it would be helpful to all of us to let us know what system your running, what os (panther,tiger... or other), and which dvd burner you are using?

Also reasearch these forums. It's crammed with useful info for burning - especially for G processors.
