Burn files larger than 4.7 to dvd?

Hey guys,

I currently have a couple of iPhoto folders, bigger than 6gb. I was wondering if there was a possibility of burning to dvd and after it exceeds the 4.7 capacity, to insert a new one and continue from where it left off.

Is this possible? If yes than how can I do it?

I am quite new to macs.

You can buy dual layer dvd's that can hold 8.5gb

or you can use a file splitter and span the files on multiple disks.
