hey all, quick question-

can i burn a .iso file onto a DVD without having burning software (like toast) on my powerbook? i dl'd a PC program while using my mac, and the program turned out to be one large .iso file rather than a few small ones like i had thought, and the size is over that of a typical CD-R. anyway, my PC doesnt have a dvd burner but my mac does and i wanted to burn the .iso file to a DVD so that i can use that DVD to install the program on my PC...haha sorry if that was a long explanation, but can this be done without using a special burner program, or am i going to have to buy one?

Toast Titanium 7 is an excellent peice of software, well worth the money IMO, but since you asked if you can do it without 3rd party software, the answer is yes, Disk Utility can sort you out no problem. ;)
