Hi, I'm buring a .dmg image to DVD in Disk Utility, and I was wondering if a progress bar is supposed to appear because after I click burn, nothing happens. Now, I am hearing some noises, but its been a few minutes and I was wondering how to check the progress.

Burn Progress in Disk Utility?

You should get a separate window that shows the progress. Try pressing Cmd-` (the key above Tab) if you don't see it.
