burn to cd

I have multiple files I am trying to burn to a CD and the files are located in different folders in Finder. So I made aliases of all the files and put them in one folder as I will be burning these same files many times. But when I try to burn them to the CD, it burns the aliases and not the originals. Is there a way to burn the originals?

Copy the original files into the "burn" folder. Cause else it will, as you experienced, just copy the aliases.

So the actual files need to be in the folder you're going to burn. (that means copying the files/ having double files for the moment you're burning).

thanks arjen92. I've never used the burn folder before and have now found out what that check box is for in the burn dialog box where you can name the CD.
