Burned DVD is jumpy

I have a dvd that I ripped with Handbrake and then used Burn to put on a blank dvd. The video is jumpy when I play it on my hdtv 48'' in an xbox 360. Also the sound is messed up, it looks like a foreign film how the actors mouth moves and voice isn't lined up correctly.

Any suggestions to fix these two problems? The ripped dvd looks and sounds great in itunes or VLC, it's just messed up when I put it on another dvd.

Is there another program you recommend for putting the ripped dvd on a blank dvd?

Any help would be appreciated,
