Hi Macrumors Community :)

Today I finally had time to completely remove the top case of my Macbook 4.1.

A while back it had smelled a bit strangely. And I noticed one of the orange connector cables coming from the Fan was completely black on one End it looked like it had been burned in some way:eek:.(Pic attached)

What can I do?Is it dangerous?

Should I bring it to an Apple Service:apple:?Which one is a good one in Denmark?

Thank you!

Can't help you with where to take it but it is not safe, take it in.

but than why is the beginning of the stripe orange and around it/below its orange as well?

Thats a good question, but if that was getting hot enough to actually burn up you would have seen melted parts by then, or REALLY felt it in the temp of your keyboard.
