This is a pretty basic question. iDVD

I have dual layer DVDs and want to burn the same small movie on both layers, one would be full screen, the other wide screen so the viewer can choose.

Is this possible? Is it just a matter of burning one movie at a time; will the comp recognize which layer is empty after the first burn?

Thanks.

I have iLife 09.

If the movies are small enough, you could just have two buttons on the menu; one for the widescreen one and one for the full screen one.

Ok, thanks, I did that. I made a duplicate of the movie from iMovie and set it in 4:3, but...

iDVD itself, you have to set the project to 16:9 or 4:3, so when you pop it into an old 4:3 tv, b/c iDVD was set to 16:9....would it be like watching a reg Wide screen dvd on an 4:3 tv?
