How do I burn on a Mac, I know that I need to use a Dual Layer Disc, but is there a software for burning things as large as 2.42GB ?

No need for a dual layer disk as a single layer supports up to 4.7GB. You can burn CD's and DVD's right from the Finder. Just right click on the desktop and choose "New Burn Folder" and drag files to that folder. Open the folder and hit the burn button.

If you need more advanced burning software you can try Roxio Toast 9.
