Burning a CD with a DVD Burner.

Hi,

I have a La Cie DVD Burner. I have it connected to my ibook, and it is easier for me if I only use it with the ibook. I would like to burn a back up copy of some PC software that I have - (we have a PC at home, nobody is perfect ; ) !!!)

Is it possible to burn a back up copy from my ibook ??

How do I do it if the software that I´m using is Toast ??

How long should it take for a CD to burn ??

Is the software installed on the PC? How are you hoping to move it across to the Mac before burning it? Alternatively, do you want to copy directly from the software's discs (in the internal optical drive) to the external drive?
