So I have a dmg image that needs to be burned to a DVD. I don't know which file to burn to allow another computer to boot from it. Do I drag the .dmg file itself to the DVD-R icon, do I burn the thing that mounts onto the desktop, or do I just drag and drop all of the individual files and folders that open up when I try to read the mounted image?

Thanks.

Disk Utility > Burn > select the image, and if it's a bootable image then you can boot up from it on the other computer :)
