I have an ISO of Vista (legit, I am a MSDN subscriber (work pays for it)).

On my Mac
When I try to burn the ISO that I downloaded, it burns onto a DVD, as an ISO, which is the same file, whatever, I downloaded!!!!

How do I burn this thing so that it's now an installation disk!? I have Toast, and that's what i used the first time.

Help

no go

i have toast and from what i am reading you can't make a bootable cd/dvd with toast.

so how does one make a bootable cd/dvd????

Applications > Utilities > Disk Utility

Insert your disc.

Burn > Choose ISO file

That should work. Did it earlier, myself.

are you were able to boot from the cd/dvd? because I did do that and it won't boot from it.
