Hello all,

have done a QUICK search and haven't found a satisfactory answer to my question. Anyways, here it is:

I have an .avi file and the .srt subtile file that comes with it, and I would like to burn them together so I can watch it on any dvd player (without divx capabilities).

I have used toast's function that converts .avi to MPEG-2, and it works wonders (quality is not the best, but it plays, which is the goal there), but I now have something I need to attach subtitles to.

Should I first convert to MPEG-2, and then burn the .srt in addition to the whole, or something else, in which case I need help? Would the player recognize an .srt?

Thanks

:)
