I'm having a lot of difficulties burning a disk image to a CD. Normally I just use Disk Utility, but it refuses to open either file. I did some Google searches and tried a program called Burn, but it crashes as soon as it tries to open the burning session (it does this every single time). I looked at the official site for Toast and saw the $250 price tag with not even a free trial available. I do not have access to Windows.

Is there seriously no way to do this? I don't believe there's a problem with the files I'm trying to burn. Burn's failure is apparently caused by my computer being too new (gee, thanks; I actually got a new one because my old one was too old to use anything useful... and then its OS went and killed itself and I can't install anything because the disk drive is dead too). Maybe there's a newer (or at least something that will definitely work on 10.7) free software I can use to do this? Or maybe I can do it in Disk Utility and I've just been doing something wrong.

I will purr for anyone who can help me out with this.
